Intel introduces Intel Core i7-2637M, 2677M and Core i5-2557M ULV Chipsets Processors

At this few time Intel introduces their latest Sandy Bridge Ultra Low Voltage chipsets should be available to manufacturers this month. This includes the Intel Core i7-2637M, Core i7-2677M and core i5-2557M processor. In this case, the three kinds of processor were leaked last month and it was right on the spot with regards to speeds, number of threads, TDP, and graphics power. Through these 32nm ULV CPUs are designed for ultrathin laptops, and there are heavy expectations that the 2011 Mac Book Air refresh would include these new Sandy Bridge processors. When it compared to the currently outdated 1.4GHz SU9400 and 1.6GHz SU9600 Core 2 Duo processors in the current MBA lineup and the ULV Sandy Bridge chips would be much needed upgrades to the ultrathin notebooks.

According to resource that the upcoming Asus UX21 will reportedly y be using one of the new Sandy Bridge ULV CPUs when it ships this September. But about the specifications and features for every kind this processor there is no explanation from Intel.  For the prices Intel already gives explanation that the Core i5-2557 M will sell at $250, the Intel Core i7-2637M will sell at $289, and the Intel Core i7-2677M will sell at $317. And all of these products began shipment on June 19.

AMD Launched AMD Opteron 6100 Series

amd opteron 6000 series

The biggest company called AMD today launched five new members of the AMD Opteron 6100 Series processor family.  It has been launched for enterprise segment and SMBs. More interesting they come with the new kinds of processor which has multiple cores such as one of the core has12-core, and two others kind have 8-core. The five members of the processor are the Opteran 6132 HE comes is an 8-core chip which has a clock frequency of 2.2 GHZ and has TDP of 65W. The second is the opteron 6140. It also has an 8-core chip and has core clock speed frequency 2.6 GHZ. It has higher TDP of 80 W0.

The other processor is the opteron 6166 HE and has core clock speed frequency 1.8 GHZ. It has 65W TDP. The fourth processor is the opteron 6176 and has core clock speed frequency 2.3 GHz. And for TDP is 80W. The last processor is the opteron 6168 SE which has core clock speed frequency 2.5 GHz and 105 TDP. And you must know that the 6166 HE, 6176, and 6180 SE are all have 12-core processors. You can imagine about the performance from the all of processors it very amazing and off course is very fast.

The new Cedar Trail CPUs from Intel with prices 30-50% than existing Atom CPUs

Intel is set to announce its latest 32nm-based Cedar Trail platform for net books in September with prices of the platform’s CPUs to go as low as US$42-47 and a drop of 30-50% compared to the price of existing Atom N4xx and N5xx series CPUs at US$64-86, it is according to sources from net book players. This is one of the solutions for facing competition from tablets PCs because most net book vendor have turned their R&D focus to tablet PCs and while shifting their net book sales targets to emerging markets such as Brazil and India. So that with Intel offering an attractive quote for its Cedar Trail platform and the sources estimated that Cedar Trail-based notebooks will have an ASP of US$199-299 which allowing notebooks to have advantage in price.

In this case the cedar trail platform will be separated into two categories, there are Cedar view-M CPUs for notebooks and Cedar view-D CPUs for net tops and both featuring dual-core designs. According to Intel said that they will offer two CPUs under Cedar View-M, there are the N280, priced at US$47 and Atom N2600, priced at US$42. As the addition to price that Cedar view-M CPUs will also see a significant drop in power consumption to allow thin and light and as well as fan less designs.

AMD’s introduces AMD A8-3530MX mobile fusion Processor 32 nm

AMD fusion A8-3530MX

We all of know one of AMD’s design goals for its fusion architecture must have been its application in mobile processor, in this case AMD isn’t the brightest in terms of energy efficiency. In other hand the company’s fastest product for the notebook platform is based on the Llano silicon. It is will release in 2011, and is a quad-core APU.  Then Enter the AMD A8-3530MX. This processor built on the 32 nm processes with FS1 package and the A8-3530MX is an accelerated processing unit (APU), it combines a quad-core processor with a powerful GPU and Northbridge component. This processor provide a default clock speed of 1.90 GHz and Turbo Core speed of 2.60 GH, it has 4MB of L2 cache, and provide a dual-channel DDR3-1600 MHz memory controller which also supports DDR3L-133 MHz.

About the GPU component is the DirectX 11 compliant AMD Radeon HD 6620G and 400 stream processors, and engine clock speed of 444 MHz. Moreover there is northbridge component is entirely integrated into the APU which packs a PCI-Express 2.0 hub to support discrete graphics and there is the top-of-the-line chip maintains a TDP of 45W. In other hand the The AMD A8-3530MX will be backed by a single-chip chipset, this not much more than a Southbridge.  After that the platform will launch with AMD A60M chipset and later the company will introduce A70M which packs native USB 3.0 support.

Intel Celeron Sandy Bridge G540, G530 , G440 specs and reviews

intel celeron

Yesterday Intel published a story about three new Celeron “Sandy Bridge” microprocessors and it was planned for the third quarter 2011. These Celeron processor launched in three kinds, there are G540, G530, and G440 were revealed by leaked roadmap slide and it posted by my drivers.com. In this case Intel Celeron G530 and G540 model consist of 2 CPU cores and it will be able to execute two threads at once. When we compare with Sandy Bridge Pentiums, the Celerons processor will have smaller 2 MB L3 cache and operate at lower frequencies. For the G530 models will has 2.4 GHz clock speed and for the G540 models will has 2.5 GHz clock speed. It is like forthcoming Pentium parts, for the Celerons will integrate HD graphics with 850 MHz base and 1 GHz turbo frequencies and both models will fit into 65 Watt thermal envelope.

About the Celeron G440 models will be a single-core and single-threaded CPU with 1.6 GHz clock rate, lower power consumption, and 1 MB L3 cache. Beside that there is The HD-capable graphics controller on this chip will be clocked at 650 MHz and it can be boosted to 1 GHz when necessary. In this case the Intel G440 is going to have 35 Watt TDP.
